Privacy Policy

Juke is a texting-first service that helps athletes run the business side of NIL and helps local businesses run athlete-powered advertising. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect what we need to run Juke for you, we don't sell your data, and the conversation stays between you and Juke.

What we collect

• Account and profile info — your phone number, name, and what you tell us about yourself: for athletes, things like school, sport, class year, social handles and follower counts, rates, and tax state; for businesses, things like business name, contact name, email, market, and campaign goals.
• Conversation content — the messages, photos, and documents you send to Juke's number, and Juke's replies. The conversation is the product, so we store it to keep context between texts.
• Deal and payment records — deals, tasks, campaign briefs, delivered content, invoices, and payout status. Payments are processed by Stripe; Juke never sees or stores full card numbers, bank credentials, or Social Security numbers — those go directly to Stripe's secure pages.
• Connected account data (optional) — if you choose to connect Google Calendar or Gmail, the data described in the Google section below.

How we use it

• To run Juke: answer your texts, price deals, track your pipeline, send the reminders you ask for, and deliver content between athletes and businesses.
• To process payments and payouts through Stripe, including tax forms (like 1099s) where required.
• To keep the service safe: preventing fraud, abuse, and scams.
• To improve Juke, including reviewing conversations internally when something goes wrong.

Juke uses AI (Anthropic's Claude models) to read and respond to your messages. Your messages and relevant profile context are sent to Anthropic to generate responses. We do not use your data to train AI models.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their advertising.

The confidentiality wall

Juke works with both athletes and businesses. Your private information — an athlete's rates, income, taxes, contact info, and notes; a business's budget and plans — is never shared with the other side of the marketplace. The other side of a deal only ever sees the shared facts of that deal: who, what deliverables, timing, and the agreed price.

Google user data (Calendar and Gmail)

Connecting Google Calendar or Gmail is optional, and Juke works fine without it. If you connect:

• Calendar — Juke reads upcoming events on your primary calendar to answer schedule questions and spot conflicts, and creates events only when you ask it to.
• Gmail — Juke searches and reads email threads to help you manage brand outreach and deals, and saves reply drafts to your drafts folder. Juke never sends email on your behalf — you always review and hit send yourself.

Google account access tokens are encrypted at rest. Google data is used only to provide these user-facing features to you — never for advertising, never sold, and never read by humans except with your permission, for security purposes, or where required by law. You can disconnect Juke's access at any time from your Google account permissions page, which immediately revokes our tokens.

Juke's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Who we share data with

We use a small set of service providers to run Juke, each receiving only what they need: Anthropic (AI responses), Stripe (payments, payouts, and tax forms), Linq (message delivery), Supabase (database), Vercel (hosting), and Google (only if you connect an integration). We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect Juke and its users from fraud or abuse.

Texting

Juke is a conversation over iMessage/SMS, so by texting Juke you're agreeing to receive replies, plus the reminders and updates you ask for or that your deals generate. Message frequency varies with your activity; message and data rates may apply. Text STOP-style requests in plain language ("stop texting me") and Juke will stop proactive messages; texting again resumes the conversation.

Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active and as needed for legal, tax, and accounting requirements (deal and payment records have required retention periods). You can request a copy of your data or deletion of your account at any time — text Juke or email itsdannytmedia@gmail.com. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your personal information except what we're legally required to keep.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including California and other states with privacy laws), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising them. Use the contact below and we'll honor these requests for everyone, not just where the law requires it.

Age requirement

Juke is for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 — if an athlete is under 18, a parent or guardian holds the account and runs the conversation. If you believe a minor has provided us information directly, contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes and contact
